3.What is the purpose of a lining material inside the boot?

Firstly, the liner makes it easier to remove the boot from the mould as it slides off the last.

Secondly, it provides some stability to PVC material.

Thirdly, the type of liner used affects foot hygiene rather than comfort.

Never, wear a boot that is wet or damp inside; the damp and retained bacteria are bad for foot hygiene!

4. What is nitrile and what is its relevance?

Nitrile is a rubber compound that is fat, oil, solvent and chemical resistant and is formulated so blend satisfactorily with PVC.

This imparts the similar resistant characteristics to the PVC/Nitrile compound.

The higher the nitrile portion in the compound the more impervious to oils, etc. However, there is a trade-off against abrasion resistance so the blending needs to be carefully balanced.

7. Boots Care

Inspect regularly for damage GOODLUCKSAFETY Safety Boots are designed and made to withstand the toughest work conditions. However, regular inspection on safety footwear is necessary to ensure that the safety footwear is in the perfect condition to serve its purpose.

1.)Using the environment temperature range: - 20 °C to 50 °C

2.)Rinse with water after exposure to chemicals or cements

Regular cleaning and conditioning protects safety footwear from harsh weather and work-site conditions.

For example, cements tend to dry up boots uppers to cause cracks in the boots uppers.

A rinse at the end of the workday will enhance the durability of the footwear.

3.)Always air and dry footwear after each day use

Remove the insoles,pen fully,place in a dry area.

If water went over the top of your footwear or if they contain excess moisture inside, pat dry with paper towels or other absorbent material, then leave it inside the boots or shoes for 30 minutes. Remove and air dry as described above. Store footwear in a cool, dry place.

Anti static properties is greatly reduced by wet conditions and with wear.

4.) Wear use found injury occurs, new boots should be replaced immediately.

5.)Transportation and storage should avoid direct sunlight, warehouse dry ventilation must be maintained, and pay attention to avoid oil pollution the package, rain erosion, cause pollution.
